Governance
The principles that govern how MenGenics Research Program conducts, evaluates, and communicates research.
Human-subject research conducted or sponsored by the Program follows applicable regulatory and ethical requirements, including — where applicable — Institutional Review Board (IRB) oversight (21 CFR 56), informed consent (21 CFR 50), HIPAA, Good Clinical Practice (ICH E6), FDA requirements, and ClinicalTrials.gov registration prior to enrollment.
MenGenics Research Program does not claim any specific approval, accreditation, registration, or compliance certification unless it has been verified and is currently in effect.
MenGenics Research Program is the research, education, and scientific innovation division of MenGenics, a commercial men's health platform founded and led by the Program's founder. We state this plainly rather than presenting the Program as institutionally independent of the company that funds it.
What independence does mean here is methodological, and it is enforced by the standards on this page: research questions, study design, and conclusions are not set by commercial objectives; marketing does not edit results; the relationship between the Program and MenGenics is disclosed on this site and on every publication; and results are published whether or not they favor MenGenics.
The Program does not itself provide clinical care. Where clinical services are provided anywhere in the MenGenics ecosystem, they are delivered through separately licensed entities or professional partners — never by the Program, and never implied to be.
Educational and Research Information. Information provided by MenGenics Research Program is intended for scientific, educational, and informational purposes and is not a substitute for individualized medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Individuals should consult an appropriately licensed healthcare professional regarding personal medical concerns. Research information should not be interpreted as establishing the safety or effectiveness of an intervention unless supported by the applicable evidence and regulatory context.
